NZ$55 Million Left Unclaimed At The IRD

NZ$55 million worth of taxpayer dollars is left to lay stagnant in IRD coffers. Out of this amount only a few thousands were returned to claimants this year. In fact, the amount returned only came up to NZ$62,000 which is a paltry sum compared to the amount available for claims.
